The following are the most frequently asked questions receive regarding coaching:

Do you guarantee results?

Yes. UWin Working With Me guarantees that if you follow your developed goals and action steps, open your mind fully, and dedicate the time and effort that you will get the results you desire. But it is going to take work on your part. We use different strategies to coach you towards your end goal. In every session you will gain different techniques, revisit previous assignments, make progress, and work with us on incorporating new ideas into your life. We are confident that our program will support you in making a change for the better in your life.

Do you guarantee privacy of my information?

Yes. We take your privacy seriously. We don’t use your details or anything you say without getting permission from you directly. At the end of our sessions together you will be asked to provide feedback and it’s your choice whether if it can be shared or not.

What is the difference between coaching and counseling?

Counseling is a "previous-focus" discipline where the counselor helps you identify the reasons behind current feelings and behaviors, as well as give you suggestions on how to handle it. It often focuses on the reasons and limits the ability to change or move forward.

With coaching, we do not concentrate on the past reasoning in an effort to avoid negative outcomes. We focus primarily on the future and the dreams, goals and aspirations you envision for yourself. What happened in the past can't be changed, but the future is still yours. We're here to help you grow and claim your happiness.

What is the difference between coaching and teaching or educating?

Education is about facilitating learning and skills about specific topics. Some aspects of our program do consist of teaching knowledge of human behavior, success and happiness.  Our goal is for you to “Take Change of your life Now.” Our coaching is more than education or teaching we give you the knowledge of what you need to do, and supply you with tools to do it. Our coaching deals with the issues which are important to you.  We help you to build your confidence so you can gain control over you mind, body and emotions.

What is Special about UWin Working With Me?

What is your professional background?

Jeanice is an educator, poet, metaphysician and social justice advocate. She has over 30 years of experience working as a social worker and, most recently, as a medical social worker in the jail system for over 11 years with pregnant mothers. She holds an M.A. in Holistic Health Education, a BA in Psychology and has a Paralegal degree.  She holds her Life Coaching Certificate and is also a Happiness Coach.

Jeanice’s calling for social justice led her to assist in the banning of shackling pregnant women during labor and delivery, as well as to and from their medical appointments.  She also orchestrated an effort with the assistance of a local non-profit to record and deliver stories of prisoners in jail to their children with hopes that these prisoners could remain connected with their children during their incarceration.

Jeanice has also orchestrated an effort with the assistance of a local non-profit to record inmates reading stories to their children and delivering them as recorded books. The books are given to children in hopes that the parent and child will remain connected with each other throughout the parent's incarceration. At present, it is the first program of this sort to be initiated in the jails of California.

She is a mother of 2 sons and has four grandchildren, is a motivational speaker, workshop facilitator, trainer and a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). She is also director of a non-profit agency that teaches parents and care givers bonding techniques to use with their babies.
